Terms & Conditions

1. About Wildfolio

These Terms govern your use of Wildfolio (the "Service"), an online field guide to the United States National Parks operated by Wildfolio ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or of legal age in your jurisdiction) to subscribe. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account credentials confidential, and accept responsibility for activity under your account.

3. License

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use Wildfolio for your personal, non-commercial trip-planning purposes.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully or fraudulently; (b) send spam, malware, or attempt to probe, scan, or interfere with the security of the Service; (c) scrape, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute our content; (d) infringe any intellectual-property rights; or (e) circumvent any technical limits, paywalls, or access controls.

5. Intellectual property

All content in Wildfolio — including park entries, illustrations, photography, maps, written guides, software, and branding — is owned by Wildfolio or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You receive no rights in the Service except the limited license above.

6. Subscriptions, billing & payments

Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. For payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics please refer to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

7. Service availability

We work hard to keep Wildfolio online, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all information is current. Park conditions, fees, trails, and operating hours change — always verify critical trip details with the National Park Service before travel.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period.

9. Disclaimers & liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where excluding such liability is prohibited by law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
